Sweethead is a US rock band formed in 2008 by Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and new-on-the-scene lead vocalist Serrina Sims. Norm Block, formerly of Plexi, and Eddie Nappi, formerly of and Handsome and Enemy round out the group. Both Block and Nappi were also in the Mark Lanegan Band.

With a name inspired by the David Bowie B-side, Sweethead[1] was formed by Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and vocalist Serrina Sims, who provided backing vocals on QOTSA album Era Vulgaris[2], in 2008. The bands roster was rounded up with Norm Block formerly of Plexi and Troy’s former Enemy bandmate Eddie Nappi, also formerly of Handsome. Also Nappi and Block perform in Mark Lanegan’s band.
